چکیده

Abstract –In our empirical works, we find that there exists the equivalency of the cumulative degree distribution and edge-cumulative distribution. Furthermore, we employ three network models of the recursive graphs, Sierpinksi networks and Apollonian networks to verify our conjecture: Both the cumulative degree distribution and the edge-cumulative distribution are equivalent to each other in deterministic network models.

Incremental adaptive networks implemented by free space optical (FSO) communication

The aim of this paper is to fully analyze the effects of free space optical (FSO) communication links on the estimation performance of the adaptive incremental networks. The FSO links in this paper are described with two turbulence models namely the Log-normal and Gamma-Gamma distributions. In order to investigate the impact of these models we produced the link coefficients using these distribu...

Scale-free behavior in protein domain networks.

Several technical, social, and biological networks were recently found to demonstrate scale-free and small-world behavior instead of random graph characteristics. In this work, the topology of protein domain networks generated with data from the ProDom, Pfam, and Prosite domain databases was studied. It was found that these networks exhibited small-world and scale-free topologies with a high de...

Information-Cloning of Scale-Free Networks

In this paper, we introduce a method, Assortative Preferential Attachment, to grow a scale-free network with a given assortativeness value. Utilizing this method, we investigate information-cloning — recovery of scale-free networks in terms of their information transfer — and identify a number of recovery features: a full-recovery threshold, a phase transition for both assortative and disassort...

Static Network Structure Affects the Dynamics of Emergent Landscapes version 2010-02-26 Emergence: The Relation between Static Network Structure and the Dynamic Qualities of Landscapes

In a network individual nodes can have differing numbers of links. Barabási (2003), among others, proposes that self-organizing networks in nature are scale-free, yielding many nodes with few connections and few nodes with many connections; the (log-log) frequency of connections per node should follow a power law. In contrast, random graphs should produce non-power-law connections-per-node dist...

همگام‌سازی در مدل کوراموتو روی شبکه‌های پیچیده با توزیع فرکانس ذاتی دوقله‌ای

In this work, we study the Kuramoto model on scale-free, random and small-world networks with bimodal intrinsic frequency distributions. We consider two models: in one of them, the coupling constant of the ith oscillator is independent of the number of oscillators with which the oscillator interacts, and in the other one the coupling constant is renormalized with the number of oscillators with ...
